I doubled the recipe for a 23″ tin, its now overflowing onto the oven floor!! Maybe one and a half would work better, I thought 10 eggs sounded a lot!!

Now I’m confused. We need a new food processor as the motor in ours is giving up the ghost from overwork. I was going to splash out on a magimix but now I’m wondering whether one of these Thermomix is the way to go? What advice….?

What about a version for those of us who do not have, and have never even seen, a Thermomix. I asked about them at my local specialist cookshop and they had never heard of them either.
The cake does look delicious though.
